Lomito
Nestled on 55 Packhorse Road, Lomito isn’t just another spot on the culinary map of Gerrards Cross - it’s an experience. Think rustic charm meets modern bistro, all infused with fiery Latin passion and flavour-forward dishes that bring Argentina to your table. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by a warm ambiance, a blend of vibrant decor, and that irresistible aroma of grilled meats sizzling behind the scenes.
If you're someone who appreciates steak done right, Lomito is a name to remember. The Steak Sampler 600g is a carnivore’s dream - three cuts grilled to perfection, offering a tender, juicy journey through Argentina’s finest traditions. And if you’re more of a purist? The Fillet Steak is all you need: velvety texture, seared crust, and flavor that speaks for itself, no frills necessary.
But it’s not all about the meat. Lomito’s Crab Croquetas bring a seafood twist that’s both crispy and creamy, while the Buffalo Mozzarella Salad is a refreshing interlude, balancing richness with bursts of freshness. Vegetarians aren’t left behind either, thanks to options like Grilled Vegetables and flavour-packed Mushrooms that hold their own on the plate.
Drinks? Oh, they do them very well here. From classic Cosmopolitans to the more adventurous Burnt Breakfast Martini, the cocktail bar is a playground for mixology lovers. Craft beer fans will find a reliable companion in the Meantime Pale Ale, while wine connoisseurs are spoiled for choice thanks to a carefully curated list that rounds off the experience with finesse.
Dessert deserves its own spotlight. The Churros, golden and warm, pair delightfully with rich chocolate sauce. For a more sophisticated end, try the Passion Fruit and Chocolate Ganache - sweet, tangy, indulgent, and unforgettable. The Tiramisu, though, is the wild card: fluffy, creamy, and just the right hit of espresso to keep things interesting.
One of the best parts about Lomito is how inclusive and accessible it is. Whether you’re navigating with a wheelchair or a pram, the restaurant’s fully accessible entrance, seating, and toilets ensure that everyone can enjoy a comfortable dining experience. There’s also outdoor seating for those warmer afternoons or cozy evenings under the stars - perfect for catching up over a bottle of red.
Despite its sophisticated vibe, Lomito never feels pretentious. It’s equally suited for a solo lunch with a good book, a family dinner with kids (yes, they have a solid kids' meal), or a long-overdue catch-up over cocktails. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, and they clearly know their stuff - always ready to offer pairing suggestions or guide you through the menu if you’re feeling overwhelmed (because trust me, you will want to order everything).
And let’s not forget the halal offerings - a thoughtful inclusion that makes Lomito a go-to for a wide variety of diners. Late-night food cravings? Covered. A quick coffee stop that rivals your usual café? Sorted. Want something with a little spirit? Wine, beer, cocktails, and even the hard stuff are ready to go.
Whether you’re a die-hard steak fan or just looking for a restaurant that blends atmosphere, accessibility, and exceptional flavours under one roof, Lomito makes a lasting impression. It’s the kind of place that lingers in your memory - not just for what you ate, but how you felt while eating it.
Reviews
I went in today for an anniversary meal and I wasn’t disappointed. The staff were exceptional as usual and the food was absolutely delicious. I had a 400g rib eye steak cooked medium with pepper corn sauce, and it was one of the best steaks I’ve had. I should have taken photos! My wife and her parents had the roast dinner and loved it. It’s one of their favourite places for a Sunday roast. We cannot recommend it enough.
Brilliant service, beautiful food and lovely atmosphere. Our go to restaurant been here plenty of times. Highly recommend
First time visiting Lomito, based on the slew of great reviews here. We went during lunch to celebrate our anniversary with 7month old in tow, luckily it wasn’t busy yet. The meal as a whole was executed very well. Highly recommend the cheese empanadas, I should have ordered more! Steaks were succulent, cooked as desired and the sauces (I got bernaise) were to die for. Came for steak and was not disappointed. Extensive non-alcoholic drinks menu, which again did not disappoint. All the sides were delicious too. Food came quickly and the service was first class. Highly recommend visiting and would not hesitate to go back. Thanks Miguel (and team)
Another great evening celebrating a birthday in style at Lomitos. Really enjoyed the mixed grill and the steak platter. Big portions of great tasting food.
This was a drive by walk in place that I nearly missed but am so glad one didn’t. The staff were excellent, I even met one of the owners. The young girl who served was charming and cheerful and excellent at her job. I shared a ceviche with someone who had never tried it before and it was an honour. The decor here was beautiful and relaxing. They had the non alcohol beer and it was great. All the way through the service was impeccable and I heard someone say it was the best burger they’d ever had. I had the sausage platter due to my current carblessness
